Commentary

Commentaries are letters, editorials, or research outputs advance discourse on trust and safety issues through diverse scholarly perspectives. Commentaries provide a forum for timely reflections, critical analyses, emerging viewpoints, and thoughtful engagement with current developments in the field.

Abstract is not required for commentaries. While there are no word limits, most commentaries range from 1,000-2,500 words. 

All commentaries undergo editorial review. Authors are welcome to contact the editors before submission if they have questions about whether their piece is suitable for this section.

The next deadline for commentary submissions is June 1, 2026. Commentaries will be considered for publication in the Conference Proceedings Issue for 2026 Trust and Safety Research Conference. Accepted manuscripts will be guaranteed a speaking spot at the conference.
