Abstract
This commentary examines the scope of the data-sharing regime under the Digital Services Act, as well as which researchers will be able to access data under the framework, and using what process. It then evaluates the guidance and commitments contained in the European Union’s Code of Practice on Disinformation and the European Digital Media Observatory's Code of Conduct, including how these instruments relate to one another and operate within the broader regime.
